The Allied Arts Council and Heartland Regional Medical Center have combined on an endeavor that will showcase the works of artists located in and around the St Joseph area. The venue for this exciting project involves the newly remodeled Pediatric Unit at Heartland. A selection panel is seeking artwork that will enhance the healing environment for patients as well as family and staff. DJ and I were both pleased to be invited to submit our original artwork for consideration. If accepted, each work of art will be identified with a plaque and will be deeded to the Pediatric Unit at Heartland Regional Medical Center as part of a permanent collection.

Marcee gave me some new software for Christmas to make cartoons and animations. This is my first try....*lol*....pretty bad. But wait until I read the instructions!!! Look out Walt Disney....Here I come!!

EMERGENCY!!

It has been a year since "the incident", and Jon Luc has still not healed properly. Today, I found out he needs further surgery. I snapped these pics as he was being prepped for the operating room. You can see in the second one that he was reluctant to have his photo taken....but after the anesthesia kicked in he didn't care.
I'll let you know how it went when he wakes up.
