Memorial Day was Memorable

We drove up the coast over Memorial Day Weekend.
Stayed in San Luis Obispo, and then toured
The Hearst Castle.
After the tours, we drove a little farther up the coast and saw a bunch of people parked at a look out point.....so we stopped to see what was going on.
Turned out, it was a whole bunch of elephant seals.
Look at the last picture here. The whole beach was covered with them....just sleeping....
and smelling really really BAD!!! *lol*

The Hideaway

Our friends Craig and Glenna invited us to their place in Palm Springs this past weekend. Barney and Craig played in a golf tourney. Poor me....I had to sit by the pool all day...or mess on my computer while they were all playing. Just me.....and the dog. *lol* It was sooooo relaxing, but I did get sunburned!!!

Since he hung out with me all day long....he now smokes and drinks red wine! *lol*

DJ created this digi scrap and emailed it to me this morning. I thought it was sooo cute, that I had to publish it here. The Easter Barney treated the Pomme Pomme Girls to brunch after church Sunday at the Country Club. We wore our Easter finest even though there were snow flurries in the afternoon.

Recently we were in Texas again. Just went for the weekend, but we did get to have a pic nic with the grandchildren.
