CSI: St. Joe

DJ and I went to dinner last night and left Jon Luc at home by himself. When we got back, we discovered poor JL on the kitchen floor. As far as we can tell, someone must have broken in while we were out and attacked him. He suffered a severe blow to his head and hasn't been able to speak, so we aren't really sure what happened. DJ thinks he may has tried to commit suicide when he saw the clothes he was going to have to wear...forever!...but I disagree. He seemed happy and content just before we left, and even posed for a few pics in his new beaded top. Now, does that sound like someone who doen't love life???

In addition to the concussion, the EMT told us he also received two broken legs and a fractured hand.

There ws one clue.....his left shoes was broken...almost as if his attacker was jealous of his clothing. His shirt was also pulled up in front, and his boa was almost torn from his body. This seems more like a "hate crime" to me. If any of you have information about this incident, please call the SJCC police immediately.

It seemes impossible, that in this day and age, there are still clay haters out there.

Please, people...don't let this happen to your sculpies. Help us catch the doer of this evil deed.

This is a picture of the crime scene.

Warning!! This may be too graphic for young children.

Santa in his undies

It's starting to look more like Santa now. This afternoon I began making his "outfit". I'm using an unusual color combination for a Santa....moss green...pink...and electric blue. I hope I didn't choose fabric that is too feminine....it has bling on it....and I am also putting some beaded fringe on the bottom of his shirt. *lol* He may end up looking like Joan Luc.

now I'm in Florida

I joined Barney for the weekend down in Florida. We were driving around, and came across this neat hotel. It has a beautiful golf course....and...well...the whole thing was just gorgeous!!! It is The Breakers

Oh...we were also fortunate to be in the "right place at the right time" to see the shuttle Explorer launch. Very awesome!!!

Santa Again

.........................................Now we are doing shoes and body. Next week we will begin to assemble him. I stayed up until 3 am Tuesday night because I will be out of town until next Tuesday afternoon, and won't be able to work on him. Our instructor told us to have all the pieces ready to go. *yawn*
